Embedded Device Lab Administrator @Real-Time Innovations (RTI)

Overview

The Embedded Device Lab Administrator will be part of a team at Real-Time Innovations (RTI) focused on building and maintaining a secure real-time middleware platform. The role requires working onsite at the Sunnyvale, CA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the embedded lab's capabilities through effective leadership.
• Bring up and maintain embedded systems, supporting over 70 different architectures, including configuring bootloaders and managing embedded kernels.
• Support debugging and evolve the automation infrastructure as needed.
• Ensure high availability of embedded systems and execute upgrades to the lab.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments as part of cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Experience with hardware setup.
• Understanding of operating systems and embedded systems; familiarity with kernels such as QNX, VxWorks, and ARM Linux is a plus.
• Experience in system generation and configuration.
• Good grasp of Linux fundamentals and Unix system administration skills.
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
• Must meet US Person requirement due to export-control regulations.
