Overview

WorkOS is seeking to hire an individual to lead Employee Programs, focusing on new hire onboarding and employee training initiatives. The role is based in their San Francisco office.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of new hire onboarding, including in-person programming in the SF office and supporting individual team onsites.
• Build structured onboarding curriculum covering role ramp-up, cross-functional context, and decision-making processes.
• Measure onboarding effectiveness and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate with the operations team for company-wide offsite content and programming.
• Design and facilitate a training program for new managers covering core management skills.
• Own personal growth and upskilling programs, tracking employee progress.
• Facilitate large-group sessions and manage onboarding cohorts effectively.
• Utilize AI-forward, no-code tools for tracking ramp progress and distributing onboarding content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in internal events, employee experience, learning & development, or People programs in a high-growth startup.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident public speaker and experienced facilitator for large groups.
• Experience in building new manager or leadership training programs.
• Strong operational instincts and project management skills.
• Commitment to creating memorable employee experiences.
• Ability to think in systems and continuously improve programs.
• This is an in-person role.
