Overview

Brex is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to develop manager capability and drive accountability across the organization. The company provides an intelligent finance platform that helps businesses manage their spending efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with front-line managers to ensure consistent performance management across teams.
• Coach managers on setting clear expectations, delivering effective feedback, and taking action on performance outcomes.
• Serve as the first point of contact for manager questions regarding performance-related cases and processes.
• Build and maintain resources to strengthen manager effectiveness.
• Run and document employee investigations end-to-end and escalate themes and risks when necessary.
• Provide guidance on employee terminations to ensure consistency.
• Manage logistics for promotion and performance check-in calibrations.
• Collaborate with People Partners and Workplace Experience on return-to-office audits.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in HR, ideally in high-growth organizations.
• Experience running employee investigations and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with employee terminations.
• Strong understanding of performance management practices.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with managers.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Discretion in handling sensitive information.
