Overview

The role of HR Business Partner at Instacart involves being a strategic partner for the Marketing & Communications teams, working directly with Sr. Director and VP-level leaders to align business strategy with talent management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior Marketing & Communications leaders, influencing team structures and talent decisions.
• Measure and improve organizational health across the Marketing & Communications department.
• Develop a cohesive talent strategy focusing on attraction, engagement, and development of diverse talent.
• Manage change effectively, ensuring teams transition smoothly during organizational changes.
• Collaborate with People Team Centers of Excellence to align their programs with business needs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of HRBP experience in a high-growth technology company, with 7+ years of overall HR or related experience.
• Proven ability to lead all aspects of the talent management lifecycle independently.
• Strong track record of coaching and influencing leaders at the Director and VP levels.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on using data for strategic planning.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of employment law.
• BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
