Engineering Manager, GTM Engineering @Brex

Overview

Brex is an intelligent finance platform that combines corporate cards and banking with spend management, bill pay, and travel software. The Engineering Manager will lead the team responsible for Brex's Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineering, focusing on optimizing marketing website performance and enhancing sales and marketing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product engineers.
• Drive the architectural vision, technical roadmap, and project execution for Brex.com and GTM applications.
• Integrate AI-native solutions into Marketing, Sales, and Operations workflows.
• Guide the team through complex technical challenges and contribute to design.
• Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Growth.
• Ensure operational excellence by managing sprint capacity and delivering high-quality outputs.
• Establish engineering best practices for GTM applications and growth surfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading engineers.
• Experience architecting growth surfaces or marketing engineering systems.
• Strong frontend, data, and backend technical fundamentals.
• Experience with GTM systems and marketing automation tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Growth-hacking and AI-native mindset.

Benefits

Brex offers up to four weeks of fully remote work per year and a hybrid work environment requiring a minimum of three days in the office. Compensation includes a salary range of $240,000 - $300,000, with factors such as location, skills, and experience influencing the final offer.

Location

This role is hybrid, based in the United States with a minimum of three days in the San Francisco office per week.
