Global Expenses Specialist @ClickHouse

Overview

ClickHouse is a rapidly growing company looking for a Global Expenses Specialist to establish a dedicated Travel & Expense (T&E) function. This role focuses on operational excellence and enhancing existing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit and manage the expense audit process.
• Develop and maintain a SOX-compliant control environment for T&E.
• Implement a global, compliant T&E policy to minimize tax and audit risks.
• Oversee and optimize the ClickHouse Expense tool and Corporate Card programs.
• Improve international reimbursement cycle times through automation.
• Enhance employee experience regarding claims through better tools and support.
• Serve as the primary contact for T&E inquiries and escalations.
• Create spend dashboards and deliver training for policy and tool adoption.
• Collaborate with Accounting for the transition of T&E responsibilities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in travel & expense, accounts payable, or finance operations.
• Familiarity with Expensify, Ramp, or similar platforms and their integrations.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and experience with automated fraud detection.
• Ability to design policies for diverse employment types across multiple entities.
• Proven experience in building reporting and KPI visibility.
• Experience in training and change management initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mentality.
• Ability to work independently and ask clarifying questions.
