Implementation Consultant I, Commercial @Brex

Overview

The Implementation Consultant I role at Brex focuses on supporting small to mid-sized customers during their onboarding journey with the Brex Empower platform. This position combines customer empathy, project management, technical knowledge, and process design to ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate customer meetings managing agendas, capturing notes, tracking action items, and setting clear expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support customers in understanding their business needs and configuring Brex to address them.
• Manage straightforward stakeholder communication and assist with timelines and deliverables to keep implementations on track.
• Assist with spend migrations and support end user adoption during deployment.
• Introduce integration concepts to customers and provide guides for connecting Brex with external systems.
• Coordinate handoffs between Account Executive, Customer Success Engineer, and Customer Success Manager.
• Deliver standard change management templates to customers in preparation for go-live.
• Collaborate within the Implementation team and contribute feedback on the client experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a SaaS organization or a consulting firm.
• Some exposure to project coordination or structured implementation work.
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Comfort working across technical and non-technical workstreams.
• Organized and detail-oriented with a sense of urgency in driving tasks to completion.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
