Lead Site Reliability Engineer - India @Juniper Square

Overview

The Lead Site Reliability Engineer will guide the technical direction for Juniper Square's infrastructure systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. This is a critical role in a company dedicated to transforming private markets with technological innovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the technical direction for infrastructure systems, making architectural decisions.
• Design systems of moderate to high complexity; conduct architectural reviews and advance design patterns.
• Establish service level objectives (SLOs) and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for team-owned services.
• Lead incident response for complex issues and establish operational standards.
• Lead medium-to-large Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) projects with collaboration across teams.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• 3+ years operating with Kubernetes and applying AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Strong programming skills; experience with observability tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows in production environments is preferred.
• Leadership experience in driving technical discussions and mentoring engineers.
