The role involves managing the Account Servicing portfolio at Brex, ensuring optimal operations regarding billing, payment applications, vendor onboarding, and account closures. Key Responsibilities

• Coach and develop a team of servicing specialists, ensuring operational redundancy.
• Set and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and capacity models across varied workflows.
• Define operational reporting cadences for staffing and prioritization decisions.
• Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy in financial adjustments.
• Act as the escalation path for high-stakes cases, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and other departments.
• Own the automation roadmap for the team, identifying and quantifying workflow candidates for automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience overseeing billing, payment, or credit operations involving financial management and controls.
• Proven track record of process improvements that result in reduced handle time or error rates.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, including requirement writing and testing.
• Strong data fluency, with capabilities in SQL, spreadsheets, or BI tools.
• Solid judgment under ambiguity with the ability to escalate appropriately.
• Excellent written communication skills for SOPs and cross-functional updates.
• Insight into AI applications in operational settings.

Benefits

The expected salary range for this role is $105,600 - $132,000, influenced by location, skills, experience, and internal parity. Equity and additional compensation forms may be provided.

Location

This role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, in a hybrid environment requiring three days in the office per week with options for remote work.
