The role of Manager, Accounting Servicing, Operations focuses on overseeing account servicing after accounts go live.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for account servicing, including payment applications and wires, statement adjustments, billing changes, auto-pay management, vendor onboarding, credit reporting, account closures, points debits, and rewards grants.
• Coach and develop servicing specialists, ensuring redundancy in queues based on team expertise.
• Set service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards across workflows.
• Define operational reporting cadences and measures for staffing and prioritization decisions.
• Write and maintain SOPs, QA samples, and controls for financial adjustments.
• Act as the escalation path for high-stakes cases related to legal and compliance matters.
• Own the automation roadmap for the team, identifying candidates for automation projects and assessing their impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience managing a servicing, billing, payment, or credit operations queue with controls for accuracy.
• A proven record of process improvement in a service environment.
• Experience working as an operational counterpart to product and engineering teams.
• Data fluency with the ability to analyze data using SQL or BI tools.
• Strong written communication skills and sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• A clear understanding of the application of AI in scaled operations.

Benefits

Salary range for this role is $119,328 - $149,160. The total compensation package may include equity and other benefits, depending on location, skills, and experience.

Location

This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, Washington, requiring a minimum of three days in the office per week.
