Overview

Figma is seeking a Manager for their Software Engineering Growth Platform team. This role will be pivotal in shaping the team's vision and capabilities, focusing on enhancing growth experiments and personalized communications across Figma products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Growth Platform team by hiring initial engineers and establishing team culture, operating rhythm, and engineering standards.
• Develop product capabilities that facilitate new experiments and ease workflow for teams across Figma.
• Integrate AI-driven approaches to enhance quality and speed in experimentation processes.
• Provide technical leadership by guiding architecture decisions and system designs.
• Collaborate across the company with marketing, product, and growth teams to align on goals.
• Define the platform vision and roadmap based on adoption, impact, and learning.

Requirements

• 3+ years in engineering management with a proven track record in application platforms.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to drive significant impact from minor changes.
• Experience in ambiguous environments and effective prioritization by impact.
• Proficient in cross-functional collaboration.
