Overview

GitLab is looking for a Manager, Strategic Finance to join their Strategic Finance team. This role focuses on financial planning, analysis, and business operations, including forecasting and model development for long-range bookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve demand-based models for Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth and bookings.
• Manage long-range financial model for bookings by product and forecast new business ARR and customer growth.
• Develop new business targets supporting Marketing, Sales Development, Account Executives, and Partners.
• Build business cases for new product offerings and strategic partnerships, collaborating with various teams.
• Support pricing and packaging strategy through reporting and scenario modeling.
• Assess GitLab’s market opportunity and link customer demand to product and growth priorities.
• Advise on strategic deals and partnerships, assessing key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Experience in strategic finance or similar roles in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, etc.
• Strong financial modeling skills and experience structuring business questions from fundamentals.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for executives.
• Strong communication skills and respect for teamwork.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or consumption-based pricing is helpful but not required.
