Principal Solutions Architect, Professional Services (West Coast Preferred) @Docker

Overview

Docker is launching a Professional Services organization to accelerate customer success, reduce time-to-value, and drive enterprise adoption for agentic workloads. As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in building and scaling this function, working with senior leadership and serving as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and scale the Professional Services practice by developing repeatable reference architecture patterns.
• Translate reference architectures into customer-facing technical collateral and templates.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and revenue teams for service integration.
• Support Partnerships & Alliances in onboarding technical integration partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers on modern containerization and AI workflows.
• Design and guide customers through agentic AI toolchains implementation.
• Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and translate field insights into actionable strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years as a Professional Services Solution Architect or similar role at a SaaS/infrastructure company.
• Experience architecting and deploying self-hosted and air-gapped deployment architectures.
• Enterprise integration experience across Identity Providers and federated identity protocols.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its application in agentic AI toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows and understanding of supply chain security.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Direct experience delivering high-quality service engagements.
