Overview

The Principal Solutions Engineer, Emerging Technologies at 1Password will help define how the company brings emerging technologies to market. This remote role is open to candidates in the United States or Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical validation for emerging products, strategic initiatives, and incubating technologies.
• Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering to shape product direction.
• Build repeatable discovery frameworks and technical enablement materials.
• Lead strategic customer engagements and provide executive-level technical guidance.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and represent 1Password at various events.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles within B2B SaaS.
• A track record of translating emerging technologies into customer value.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of modern identity architectures and AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with metrics and enterprise sales methodologies.
• Preferred experience in technical enablement or domains such as AI Security.
