• Experiment with and leverage AI for reporting and newsletter production.
• Write in Axios' Smart Brevity style.
• Help build Axios Local and shape the evolution of the product.

Requirements

• Experience covering Houston.
• Excellent sources and the ability to create new ones.
• Ability to break news and create conceptual scoops.
• Omnivorous curiosity about the city.
• Comfort in using voice and personality in writing.
• Experience in a fast-paced news environment.
• Desire to become indispensable to local readers and to Axios Local.
