Overview

1Password is seeking a Sales Engineer for their Mid-Market business. This remote role, based in the United States, focuses on providing technical advisory support throughout the sales cycle to enhance digital safety for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic technical advisor to customers and Account Executives.
• Lead discovery, deliver tailored demonstrations, and translate technical concepts into business value.
• Shape solutions that address customer goals and requirements.
• Educate customers on the 1Password product suite.
• Coach Account Executives on product capabilities and customer-specific messaging.
• Mentor teammates to enhance technical and communication skills within the Solutions Engineering team.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in customer-facing technical sales or solutions engineering in a B2B environment.
• Experience with complex sales cycles, particularly in cybersecurity or SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of identity security concepts (e.g., PAM, IGA).
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC preferred.
• Technical experience with security technologies (e.g., SAML, SSO, APIs) is helpful.

Benefits

• Base salary between $100,000 - $140,000 USD plus commissions.
