Security Specialist Solutions Architect @ClickHouse

Overview

ClickHouse is seeking a Security Specialist Solutions Architect to support its expanding presence in financial services, healthcare, telco, and public sector across the Americas. This role serves as a security overlay within the AMER Solutions Architecture team, focusing on security, data residency, and regulatory compliance in customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the security overlay on AMER opportunities, engaging with customers on security, privacy, or compliance discussions.
• Lead security conversations with CISOs and security architects, translating ClickHouse architecture into recognized controls frameworks.
• Design and validate secure ClickHouse deployments, focusing on network isolation, encryption, and access control.
• Run threat modeling and architecture reviews with customer security teams, managing security through POC and production readiness.
• Serve as the authority on compliance posture including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and US regulatory frameworks.
• Enhance the quality and speed of security questionnaires and risk reviews, developing a reusable answer library.
• Build the security playbook for AMER Solutions Architecture and support account teams with routine security queries.

Requirements

• Significant customer-facing experience in data platforms, analytics, or database companies.
• Deep understanding of cloud and data security technologies including IAM, key management, and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Proven credibility with security buyers and experience engaging with CISOs.
