Overview

The Senior Benefits Analyst will be part of GitLab's Total Rewards team, focusing on designing, administering, and improving global benefits programs. This role involves working across various employment models and supporting EMEA and South America regions while also navigating local vendor processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with global benefits brokers and local vendors to manage plan renewals and operations.
• Lead the implementation of new and enhanced benefits programs.
• Administer global benefits programs, focusing on eligibility, enrollment, billing, and resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, People Operations, and People Technology for compliance and reporting.
• Coordinate benefits operations across different regions, handling complex cases with local vendors.
• Act as a point of contact for complex benefits inquiries.
• Analyze benefits data to identify trends and develop recommendations.
• Improve processes while ensuring a user-centered experience for team members.

Requirements

• Experience managing global benefits programs and working with international brokers.
• Knowledge of core benefits concepts, including medical and supplemental benefits.
• Experience in multi-country environments and supporting expansions.
• Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration tools, with attention to billing and data entry.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize data effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex benefit topics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Curiosity about AI tools to improve processes; Workday experience preferred.
