Senior Customer Success Manager- Public Sector @GitLab

Overview

The Senior Customer Success Manager on the Public Sector team at GitLab will support U.S. government and public sector organizations in achieving meaningful business outcomes with the GitLab DevSecOps platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Public Sector customers to translate pre-sales command plans into actionable objectives.
• Guide customers on effective use of the GitLab platform and best practices.
• Map and manage the customer journey while coaching customers to adopt new GitLab use cases.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and various GitLab teams for support and escalations.
• Own a portfolio of accounts to drive adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on GitLab releases and assist customers in applying new features.
• Use project management skills to deliver customer success initiatives.

Requirements

• Eligibility as a United States Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
• Background in Customer Success or a similar customer-facing role.
• Experience in connecting technical capabilities to business outcomes.
• Understanding of Git, branching strategies, and the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps concepts.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
