Senior Data and AI Specialist @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Senior Data and AI Specialist to join its Strategy & Operations team within the Industry Relations & Strategic Growth organization. The role focuses on leveraging data analysis and automation to support exceptional growth for Twilio’s customers and business.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, test, and deploy large language models (LLMs) and agents for automating data investigations.
• Develop automated workflows using Python to enhance manual processes.
• Implement data architecture and AI orchestration frameworks for accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform SQL queries and analysis on telecommunications datasets to improve performance.
• Add insights to dashboards and business intelligence solutions using Tableau, Looker, or Python.
• Collaborate with various teams to transform business needs into data requirements.
• Communicate insights effectively and take ownership of data products from inception to delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years in developing technical data and automation solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Google Sheets (or Excel), Tableau, and/or Looker.
• Familiarity with Python and workflow platforms for data automation.
• Experience in building agents and training large language models.
• Strong understanding of data management and governance.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating findings and breaking down complex problems.

Location

This role is remote; however, it is not eligible to be hired in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
