Senior Data and AI Specialist @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Senior Data and AI Specialist to join their Strategy & Operations team within the Industry Relations & Strategic Growth organization. This remote role is responsible for improving product quality, fighting fraud, reducing billing errors, and optimizing gross margins for Twilio's global telecommunications network.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, test, and deploy LLMs and agents to automate unstructured, multi-step data investigations.
• Build automated workflows using Python to transform repetitive manual processes.
• Perform SQL queries and multi-step data analyses across complex telecommunications datasets.
• Design dashboards and repeatable BI solutions using Tableau, Looker, or Python.
• Collaborate with various teams to translate business needs into data requirements.
• Take ownership of data products from scoping requirements to delivery.
• Conduct root cause analysis and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing technical data and automation solutions.
• Extensive experience with SQL, relational databases, Google Sheets or Excel, Tableau, and/or Looker.
• Proficient in Python and APIs for building automated data workflows.
• Experience in building agents and training LLM models.
• Strong understanding of data management, governance, and hygiene.
• Sharp communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with telecom, messaging, and voice networks is desired.
• Project management experience is a plus.
