Overview

The role of Senior Director of Engineering at Lattice involves leading the Talent Engineering organization to build the future of People + AI through innovative talent management solutions. This remote position is open to candidates located in British Columbia or Ontario, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Talent Engineering organization, overseeing 50+ engineers and managers across a portfolio of customer-facing products, while balancing customer needs and product priorities.
• Coach and develop engineering managers and senior leaders, enhancing leadership and organizational health.
• Ensure excellent customer experience while enabling rapid product development.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define product strategy and roadmap.
• Represent Lattice in discussions with key prospects and customers.
• Work with the broader Engineering leadership team to shape department-wide strategy and goals.
• Scale systems, processes, and practices for effective planning and delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, with at least 5 years leading multiple teams.
• Experience managing engineering investments across a product portfolio.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality, reliable, and scalable products.
• Strong autonomy and a CEO mindset with sound judgment.
• Ability to develop and mentor engineering leaders.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence to influence decisions.
• Interest in AI and its applications in talent management.
