Overview

Lattice is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead their Talent Engineering organization, which focuses on building AI-powered products for talent management. The role involves overseeing a large engineering team and collaborating with product and design partners to enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ engineers and managers across customer-facing products.
• Coach and develop engineering managers while enhancing organizational health.
• Ensure a reliable experience for global customers while enabling rapid product development.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to define the product strategy and roadmap.
• Represent Lattice in discussions with key prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape department-wide strategies.
• Scale systems and processes for effective team planning and delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering management experience, including 5 years leading multiple teams.
• Experience managing engineering investments and making tradeoffs with constrained resources.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products focused on customer success.
• Ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgment.
• Experience developing engineering leaders and managing teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across various teams.
• Curiosity about AI and its potential in talent management.
