Overview

Affirm is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead and scale teams for critical financial platforms, specifically in Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement. The role focuses on managing product vision, strategy, and team leadership in a remote setting within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing PM team of 6-10 product managers.
• Define the product strategy for Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement, ensuring scalability and compliance.
• Act as the domain authority on loan lifecycle mechanics and payment systems.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with various departments including Engineering and Legal.
• Architect platform strategies for scalability and international expansion.
• Establish and improve metrics for platform health, holding teams accountable for standards.
• Regularly present strategy and priorities to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product management experience, including 3-5 years managing PM teams.
• Deep understanding of loans and lending systems.
• Experience in money movement and payments infrastructure.
• Background in fintech or financial services; familiarity with BNPL preferred.
• Proven ability to execute long-term strategies in fast-moving environments.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to engage with data models and APIs.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
