Overview

The Senior Manager, Developer Evangelism for the Americas at Twilio is responsible for leading developer relations across North and Latin America. This role focuses on inspiring and equipping developers to build with Twilio products, ensuring an exceptional developer experience, and collaborating with various teams to promote regional programs and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and equip developers to engage with Twilio products.
• Act as a leader in the developer community, both online and offline.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within Twilio to align on objectives.
• Define and execute the strategy for Developer Evangelism in the Americas.
• Communicate project plans and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop the careers of the regional Evangelists through servant leadership.
• Expand various Evangelism projects and programs based on metrics-driven approaches.
• Mentor the next generation of Developer Evangelists.
• Foster partnerships across the company, particularly with Marketing, Product, and Sales.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Developer Relations or related areas.
• 3-5 years of team leadership or people management experience.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
• Strong mentoring skills for individual contributors.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a data-driven focus.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across the organization.
• Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
