Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow two teams focusing on UX and Agent Platform experiences.
• Own the roadmap for Render's self-serve user journey.
• Drive the agent-facing side of the platform, facilitating API integrations for agents.
• Collaborate with product and design partners to align roadmaps.
• Hire and develop engineers to support team growth while maintaining team identity.
• Make architectural and product decisions that balance long-term investments with iterative improvements.
• Establish a strong performance management and career development practice for the teams.

Requirements

• Strong people leadership skills.
• Hands-on experience in code review and prototyping.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with a growth mindset.
• Proven experience in building and scaling teams.
• Experience managing senior engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• Ability to collaborate closely with product and design teams.
• Strong product instincts connecting engineering investment to growth outcomes.
• Background in startups preferred; larger company experience acceptable.
