Senior FP&A Analyst, Corporate Finance @GitLab

Overview

The Senior FP&A Analyst on the Corporate FP&A team at GitLab will help ensure the organization is predictable, well-capitalized, and aligned with its strategy by transforming complex financial data into actionable insights. This role involves managing planning and forecasting processes, conducting revenue and cash flow analyses, and maintaining financial models for executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead revenue forecasting and planning for core revenue components, including annual recurring revenue, churn, and expansion.
• Develop financial models, reporting, and analyses to support Corporate FP&A deliverables.
• Drive process improvements in close and planning workflows with a focus on automation and AI-enabled analysis.
• Collaborate with finance teams such as accounting and compensation for shared planning and reporting.
• Prepare insights for leadership reviews affecting CFO, board, and audit committee discussions.
• Identify opportunities to replace manual workflows with scalable, automated solutions.
• Communicate effectively regarding progress, risks, assumptions, and open questions.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, with a focus on revenue forecasting and financial modeling.
• Understanding of SaaS revenue concepts, including annual recurring revenue, churn, and expansion.
• Proficiency in building and enhancing financial models.
• Experience with automation in finance workflows and curiosity about AI tools like Claude or Gemini.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across finance partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a focus on resilience and adaptability.
