Overview

The Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics role at Customer.io involves leading and evolving the internal data science and analytics function. The team acts as a strategic partner across various departments, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience, to enhance decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Data Scientists and Analysts.
• Conduct behavioral analytics, customer segmentation, experimentation, and product measurement.
• Develop and maintain revenue forecasts, churn models, and health scoring models.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to manage the analytics platform, Smarty.
• Define standards for analytics and data science best practices, refining operational frameworks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science or related fields.
• Strong expertise in experimentation, statistical analysis, and product analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python or similar tools.
• Experience in defining metrics and analytical approaches for business decision-making.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience with analytics platforms and data warehouses like Snowflake and dbt.
• Background in B2B SaaS or subscription businesses preferred.

Benefits
