Overview

The Senior Manager of Product Management at GitLab will lead the Agentic Software Delivery portfolio, focusing on Continuous Integration, Artifact Management, Continuous Deployment, and Observability. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of senior and principal product managers, providing strategic direction, coaching, and support.
• Define the product strategy and long-term vision for the Agentic Software Delivery portfolio, emphasizing the impact of AI on software delivery workflows.
• Connect decisions across build, package, deploy, and monitor experiences to maintain a coherent customer journey.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on platform investments and architectural direction.
• Drive pricing, packaging, and go-to-market alignment with various partners.
• Utilize customer insights and product data to prioritize roadmap and improve adoption.
• Champion migration paths for customers transitioning to advanced CI/CD and AI-enabled models.
• Use AI tools for product management processes while guiding the team in their use.

Requirements

• Experience leading product managers with a focus on setting direction and mentoring.
• Hands-on product management experience in CI/CD, artifact management, release management, or observability.
• Ability to manage a broad portfolio and align teams around a shared vision.
• Technical fluency in pipeline design, artifact workflows, deployment strategies, and observability signals.
• Experience supporting technical customers in developer tools and software delivery environments.
• Comfort with pricing and packaging decisions for technical products.
• Strong communication skills for aligning various stakeholders around strategy.
• Practical experience using AI tools in product management workflows.
