Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design vision for Mercury's Accounting Integrations experience, from early product strategy to polished execution.
• Reimagine customer workflows for accounting tasks in Mercury, enhancing automation and interaction models.
• Translate complex accounting workflows into intuitive product experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research teams to shape Mercury's future in accounting.
• Define interaction patterns and visual language across Mercury's accounting ecosystem.
• Raise the design quality bar across Mercury's accounting experiences.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading complex, end-to-end product design initiatives.
• Ability to think in systems and workflows.
• Strong understanding of new domains and complex problems.
• Experience in simplifying complex workflows into user-friendly products.
• Balance automation with user control and trust.
• Strong product judgment and clear communication skills.
• Familiarity with using AI to enhance design thinking.
