    Overview

    Ferocia is a digital division of Bendigo Bank focused on creating improved financial experiences for Australians. The company is looking for a Senior Product Designer to contribute to the future of Business & Agri banking through the Bendigo Bank app and web experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify opportunities: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand customer needs and define problems worth solving.
    • Navigating complex problems: Help teams manage ambiguity and competing priorities to build alignment.
    • Design connected experiences: Utilize strong systems thinking to create interconnected experiences balancing customer needs and business goals.
    • Influence product direction: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and leadership teams to shape roadmaps and influence decisions.
    • Deliver high-quality outcomes: Partner with engineers to ensure thoughtful execution of ideas to create value for both customers and the business.

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years of experience leading product work from discovery through delivery, ideally within digital products or financial services.
    • Strong product thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance customer value and business goals.
    • Systems thinking: Ability to design solutions that work across various systems and touchpoints.
    • Collaboration and influencing skills: Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders.
    • Comfort operating in ambiguity: Ability to create momentum amidst uncertainty.
    • Strong attention to detail and interaction design skills.
    • A growth mindset, with a desire to learn and tackle difficult problems.
