Instacart is transforming the grocery industry, inviting the world to share love through food and providing essential services for customers. The company is looking for a Senior Product Designer II to join the Lifecycle & Growth team to shape important customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact Growth initiatives across partnerships, incentives, and lifecycle experiences.
• Reimagine key moments across the customer journey to improve understanding, conversion, and habit formation.
• Blend product thinking, brand content, interaction design, and business mechanics for unified experiences.
• Explore and prototype new content models, flows, interaction patterns, and messaging.
• Design complex, multi-step journeys, creating continuity and clarity across experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synthesize inputs into clear creative direction and actionable decisions.
• Evaluate design tradeoffs using customer insights, experimentation, and business metrics.
• Define scalable patterns and interaction models for the broader Growth experience.
• Utilize prototypes and AI-enabled tools to accelerate learning and exploration.
• Enhance the craft of visual and interaction design through strong storytelling and rationale.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual, interaction, and product craft.
• Deep interaction design skills, including motion, micro-interactions, and prototyping.
• Strong conceptual thinking to turn ambiguous opportunities into compelling product experiences.
• Ability to design complex journeys while balancing various factors.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously and carry work from concept through execution.
• Curiosity and fluency with AI-enabled tools.
