Senior Product Manager - Business Lending @Mercury

Overview

Mercury is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its business lending product suite. This role involves driving the vision, strategy, and execution of lending products aimed at providing growing businesses with fast and fair access to capital.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Mercury's business lending product suite.
• Drive the end-to-end customer journey including eligibility, application, underwriting, funding, and repayment.
• Collaborate with risk and data science teams to design underwriting experiences balancing speed and compliance.
• Work with design and engineering to create a seamless application experience for business owners.
• Ensure product compliance by collaborating with banking partners, legal, and compliance teams.
• Define and track key performance metrics to inform product decisions.
• Utilize customer insights and market research to guide product development and prioritization.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and support for product launches and customer engagement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years in lending, credit, or a regulated financial domain.
• Experience building and scaling lending businesses.
• Strong understanding of the lending lifecycle, including risk and compliance considerations.
• Proven ability to deliver AI-driven customer-facing products.
• Technical fluency to collaborate with engineering and data teams.
• Ability to balance customer empathy with growth and compliance challenges.
• Data-driven decision-making skills with a track record of measurable outcomes.
• Comfort with ambiguity and setting direction in dynamic product areas.
