Senior Product Manager, Discounting Platform @Instacart

Overview

The Senior Product Manager, Discounting Platform, will lead the design and execution of innovative solutions to optimize e-commerce products, focusing on promotional systems that drive customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business goals, market needs, and technical requirements to develop product roadmaps and key metrics for discounting features.
• Analyze redemption rates, ROI, and other metrics to optimize performance.
• Plan and execute product research, usability studies, and functional experiments to identify areas for improvement and inform product direction.
• Design self-service tools and scalable integrations for business partners.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and marketing to launch new promotional capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or related.
• 2 years of product management experience overseeing roadmap strategy and product delivery.
• 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to identify new roadmap opportunities.
• 2 years of designing and developing large-scale software products in technical domains.
• 2 years of experience developing metrics and KPIs to measure product performance.
• 2 years of experience executing and analyzing user research and data-driven experiments.
• 2 years of experience using SQL or similar analytical tools for product development recommendations.
• 2 years of experience working with APIs, microservices, and web application technologies.
