Senior Product Manager, Mobile @Mozilla Corporation

Overview

The role involves being a hands-on Mobile Product Manager with a primary focus on Firefox for iOS, while also contributing across mobile platforms including Android. The position is aimed at building a better browser experience and ensuring user retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a fundamentally better browser experience, including fixing bugs and refining UI and navigation.
• Drive strong activation and retention, focusing on optimizing the new-user journey.
• Deliver unique features and experiences that enhance user engagement.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and TPMs to implement impactful improvements.
• Stay connected to real users by monitoring trends and analyzing feedback for enhancements.
• Oversee app performance in App Store Connect and Google Play Console, supporting acquisition and retention efforts.
• Adapt Firefox for global markets while considering cultural differences and local data constraints.

Requirements

• Proven shipping experience with hands-on involvement in launching or managing apps on the iOS App Store and/or Google Play Store.
• Strong execution focus with a track record of delivering under deadlines through effective collaboration.
• Deep understanding of iOS and ideally Android ecosystems, app store policies, and web browser technologies.
• Comfort with data-driven iteration using analytics and user feedback.
• Natural habit of studying apps and following industry trends to uncover opportunities.
• Interest or experience in growing products in international markets.
• Bonus: experience with mobile browsers or privacy-focused products and a history of scaling an app’s user base.
• Maintaining a side project or app on App Store or Google Play is a plus.
