Overview

The Senior Product Manager - Users at Mercury will oversee the identity, roles, permissions, and authorization processes within the platform. This role is crucial in managing who can access what, and in enhancing the user experience for founders and their teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own identity, roles, permissions, and authorization processes end to end, ensuring they are granular for demanding customers while remaining simple for general users.
• Manage platform operations, facilitating how other product teams interact with your team.
• Streamline processes to help founders invite their teams to Mercury easily and securely.
• Shape product direction as it evolves to accommodate a wider variety of users.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant product management experience, particularly in horizontal product or platform teams focused on identity and authorization.
• Proven judgment to balance between product features and platform functionality.
• Ability to collaborate early with product teams, influencing decisions proactively.
• Strong viewpoint on agentic actions and the complexities introduced when these actions involve non-human entities.
• Proven track record of navigating ambiguous situations to form clear strategies.
• Capability to manage complex projects autonomously from research to stakeholder management.
