Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to aid in the development of Elastic XDR. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of security detection and response products within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the XDR roadmap end-to-end, including detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities across various environments.
• Expand and maintain the telemetry and integrations XDR requires.
• Contribute to the exposure and vulnerability management efforts.
• Write clear, actionable requirements for engineering.
• Act as a product representative for customer discussions and feedback.
• Ensure capabilities are compatible across different deployment models.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape.
• Create product artifacts for stakeholder visibility.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in technical product management or related fields; at least 3 years in product development or technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with XDR, EDR, SIEM, or incident response.
• Familiarity with telemetry and third-party data integrations.
• Understanding of analytics techniques and the current cyber threat landscape.
• Technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to use AI tools for research and synthesis.
• Experience collaborating across various teams in a remote environment.
• BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or information security.
