Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Elastic Security to help build and grow Elastic XDR, focusing on detection and response products. The role involves owning a core area of the XDR roadmap and collaborating closely with Engineering and the Elastic Security Labs team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap, managing detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations XDR relies on.
• Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management work.
• Write clear requirements for engineering teams.
• Represent product in customer conversations with senior security stakeholders.
• Ensure capabilities work across various deployment models, including cloud and on-premises.
• Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and GTM strategies.
• Create artifacts like roadmap trackers and decision memos for stakeholder visibility.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in security-related technical product management, with a minimum of 3 years in a related field.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, and incident response.
• Experience building products reliant on heterogeneous third-party data.
• Understanding of analytics techniques behind detection and current cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility with a focus on quality requirements.
• Confidence in customer-facing roles, representing product to security customers.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in working in cross-functional teams within a dynamic environment.
