Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and grow Elastic XDR. This role involves working closely with engineering and security teams to deliver effective detection and response products based on data from various security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap from requirements through to delivery and iteration.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations for XDR using both Elastic and third-party data sources.
• Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management prioritization based on exploitability and remediation strategies.
• Write clear requirements and translate customer feedback and threat research into actionable product insights.
• Engage with security customers and senior stakeholders to inform the product roadmap.
• Ensure product capabilities meet various deployment models, including cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments.
• Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create visual artifacts for stakeholders to track product development without the need for frequent meetings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in security-related technical product management.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensic practices.
• Comfort with products that depend on diverse third-party data sources.
• Solid understanding of analytics for detection and knowledge of the cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility and respect from engineering teams based on requirements quality.
• Experience engaging with customers, particularly senior security stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a remote environment.
• A BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
