Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Security Solutions, specifically to help build and grow Elastic XDR. This role involves contributing to the development of detection-and-response products while working closely with engineering and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, focusing on detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations for XDR, correlating data from first-party Elastic and third-party sources.
• Contribute to vulnerability management prioritization and remediation workflows.
• Translate customer input and threat research into actionable product requirements.
• Engage with customers, including senior security stakeholders, to inform the product roadmap.
• Ensure product capabilities work across various deployment models, including cloud and on-premises.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create artifacts for stakeholder visibility, minimizing the need for meetings.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in security-related technical product management and 3 years in a related development field.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or incident response.
• Experience building or owning products dependent on heterogeneous third-party data.
• Solid understanding of current cyber threat landscape and analytics behind detection and prioritization.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity concepts, with a BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or information security.
