Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help build and grow its XDR product within Elastic Security, contributing to detection-and-response capabilities across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, driving detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations that XDR relies on, including third-party EDR, cloud, identity, and network sources.
• Contribute to the exposure and vulnerability management work.
• Translate customer input and threat research into actionable requirements for engineering.
• Represent the product in customer conversations and bring insights back into the roadmap.
• Ensure capabilities function across various deployment models.
• Maintain an awareness of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create artifacts like roadmap trackers and decision memos for stakeholder visibility.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in security-related technical product management or a similar role, with a proven track record.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensic.
• Experience with building products that depend on a range of third-party data.
• Solid comprehension of analytics techniques behind detection and prioritization.
• Technical credibility and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable in a customer-facing role with security stakeholders.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a remote-first environment.
• A BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security is required.
