Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic Security is seeking a Senior Product Manager to facilitate the development and growth of Elastic XDR, focusing on detection-and-response products. This role involves direct engagement with customers and ownership of product areas from initial requirements through to product launch and iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap, including detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities across various environments.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations necessary for XDR functionality.
• Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management efforts.
• Write clear requirements for engineering teams.
• Represent the product in customer conversations and incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
• Ensure compatibility across multiple deployment models.
• Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create visibility artifacts such as roadmap trackers and decision memos.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security-related technical product management or related fields, with at least 3 years in product development.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, and incident response.
• Experience with building products that rely on various third-party data sources.
• Strong understanding of analytics and the cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility and the ability to produce high-quality requirements.
• Confidence in customer-facing roles with senior security stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A robust interest in cybersecurity, with a relevant degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
