Overview

Elastic Security is seeking a Senior Product Manager to contribute to the development of Elastic XDR, focusing on detection-and-response products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap from requirements to product delivery.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations essential for XDR performance.
• Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management prioritization.
• Create clear requirements for engineering teams and represent product insights to customers.
• Ensure product capabilities work across various deployment models.
• Maintain an understanding of competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create documentation to provide stakeholder visibility.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security-related technical product management.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensics.
• Comfortable handling products that rely on third-party data.
• Strong understanding of analytics techniques for detection and the cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility to earn respect from engineering teams.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to various audiences.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams.
• BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
