Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help build and grow Elastic XDR within their Security Solutions team. This role involves owning a core area of the XDR roadmap, from requirements through product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap, driving detection and response capabilities across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
• Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations essential for XDR.
• Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management work, prioritizing based on exploitability and reachability.
• Write clear and actionable requirements for engineering.
• Represent product in discussions with security customers, including senior stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency across deployment models in various environments.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create operational artifacts for stakeholder visibility without requiring meetings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in security-related product management and a minimum of 3 years in a related technical field.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, and detection engineering.
• Experience with heterogeneous third-party data and product integration.
• Solid comprehension of analytics techniques for detection and the current cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility and the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
• Customer-facing confidence and communication excellence for complex technical concepts.
• Comfortable using AI tooling in a regular workflow.
• Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration across various teams.
• A BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security is required.
