Overview
Mercury is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager for its Cards and Spend Management products. This individual will leverage customer insight and strategic clarity to enhance product awareness and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies to increase awareness, adoption, spending, and revenue growth for Mercury’s Cards and Spend Management products.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of products, market, and customer segments to articulate product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to identify customer needs and gaps in existing products.
- Plan and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring effective messaging and channel strategy.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap for improved adoption and growth.
- Work closely with Sales and Relationship Management to enhance sales win rates and upsell opportunities.
- Build relationships with marketing teams to create campaigns, landing pages, and public relations initiatives related to products.
- Participate in varied tasks such as writing press releases, negotiating sponsorships, and conducting customer interviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience, including 3+ years in product marketing at a tech company.
- At least 1 year of product marketing experience in fintech is preferred.
- Expertise in product marketing, including personas, positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the company.
- Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
- Customer-centric approach with experience in conducting customer research.
- Experience in data analysis and familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-growing startup environment.
