Senior Product Security Engineer II @Instacart

Overview

This role involves being a key member of the Security Engineering team responsible for researching, developing, and conducting offensive security techniques for Instacart products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct offensive security operations for product and internal tools.
• Deploy and operationalize a variety of open-source and commercially available security tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security testing into their SDLC cycle.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Security Engineering or Penetration Testing.
• Experience in mobile app penetration testing, AI security testing, or cloud penetration testing.
• Knowledge in threat modeling, security assessments, and security architecture reviews.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize initiatives.
• Solid self-management and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of remediation techniques for application vulnerabilities.
• Ability to create technical documents for cross-functional teams.
