Senior Sales Engineer @Affirm

Affirm is a remote-first company that offers a clear, predictable way to pay over time. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical skills and communication abilities to help enterprise merchants design and implement solutions on the Affirm platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Affirm’s integration solutions, demonstrating an understanding of merchant checkout and customer journeys.
• Solution Development: Architect solutions for customer challenges including complex integrations and customizations.
• Merchant Trust: Build trust with technical counterparts and foster relationships with Enterprise & Key merchants.
• Partner Success: Collaborate with sales and partner engineering teams to drive opportunities for large customers.
• Product Influence: Provide insights to influence product development and feature prioritization.
• Knowledge Scaling: Develop best practices and training materials to enhance market efficiency.
• Sales Support: Provide architectural input into sales planning, identify risks, and refine business processes.
• Market Engagement: Create documentation for new products and features.
• Demo Development: Build and present custom demos as required.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in business/technology or equivalent experience in account management.
• 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience in the payments, fintech, or closely related industry.
• Strong knowledge in API integrations and SaaS platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Experience with e-commerce, in-store, and payment solutions.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
