Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals, leading engineers through ambiguous challenges.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics in the product development lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Support operations and availability metrics for the team's artifacts.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership through code review and design standards.
• Occasionally contribute to full-stack development.
• Develop talent on the team through feedback and guidance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and developing backend systems using Python or Kotlin.
• Experience with highly available distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Occasional front-end development enthusiasm.
• Experience in defining technical plans for significant features or system components.
• Ability to implement significant changes in a large code base safely.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
