Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers across the company to build new features and products end-to-end.
• Work alongside user-facing teams like Sales and Support to understand customer needs.
• Design and implement solutions to improve banking experiences for customers.
• Own problems end-to-end, from user experience and data models to scalability and metrics.
• Tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications, focusing on the backend.
• Experience in building and designing scalable backend systems.
• Proficient with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with backend programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
• Familiarity with software engineering development cycles.
• Ability to maintain high standards individually and as a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

The expected salary range for this role is $192,000 - $240,000, with starting base pay depending on various factors including location, skills, and experience. Equity and additional forms of compensation may be included in the total package.

Location

This role will be based in Seattle, Washington, in a hybrid environment requiring a minimum of three days in the office per week.
