Senior Software Engineer, Build Loop @Webflow

Overview

Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop the next generation of Agentic Codebases. This is a permanent, full-time role that is remote-first and located in Argentina.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build the Nest.js service scaffolding for new backend services in the next-generation monorepo.
• Implement paved paths, generators, and platform primitives to enhance the deployment experience.
• Facilitate the smooth operation of new services independent of the existing monolith.
• Manage deployment stories for services and web applications using Cloudflare, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Lead migrations of codebases into the monorepo, establishing repeatable processes.
• Collaborate directly with product teams to enhance platform usability and measure success by their adoption.
• Encode learnings into tools and workflows to improve future migrations.
• Participate in engineering citizenship activities, including writing engineering blogs and leading hackathon teams.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience building and operating production backend services.
• Experience in backend service design, defining boundaries, contracts, and data ownership.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Node, and comfortable with edge runtimes.
• Experience with monorepo tooling at scale (e.g., Nx, Turborepo).
• Ability to communicate decisions in writing clearly.
• Proactive in embracing emerging technologies.
